Pushchair-friendly main route from visitor centre to Lodge gardens, but other trails have steps and uneven terrain. Dogs on lead permitted on Skylark Trail bridleway only (assistance dogs welcome everywhere). No BBQs permitted. Water bowl available at Gatehouse for assistance dogs. Trail maps available including access map for planning routes.

Parking
Two car parks with free parking. Main car park: 40 spaces + 3 Blue Badge spaces (free for Blue Badge holders), 50m from Gatehouse entrance with one space further down the drive. Second car park: 30 spaces + 5 Blue Badge/accessible spaces, around 50m to café via 1.5m wide path with dropped kerb and informal drop-off. Compacted stone and reinforced concrete grid surfaces. Main car park has no lighting; second car park has street lighting.

Main accessible route: level, slightly uneven ground from Visitor Centre/shop to The Lodge house and gardens. Main paths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Other paths have steeper, stepped sections unsuitable for mobility vehicles and most prams. Accessible toilets in separate block next to shop (open daily 10am-4pm). Additional toilets at café (4 all-gender, 1 all-gender accessible). Baby change available in accessible toilet and one other facility. No Changing Places toilet confirmed.
