Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
Our commitment
SenLens is built for SEN families, and we take accessibility seriously. We aim to make this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and we work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we've done
- All images have descriptive alt text, or are marked decorative where appropriate
- The site can be navigated by keyboard alone
- A "Skip to main content" link is available for keyboard and screen reader users
- Colour contrast meets WCAG AA requirements for all body text and interactive elements
- Form inputs have visible labels
- ARIA roles and attributes are used where needed to support screen readers
- The site is responsive and usable on mobile devices
Known limitations
We are continuously improving. Some areas we are working on:
- Venue score charts and visual data representations may not be fully accessible to screen reader users - we are working to add better text alternatives
- Some third-party embedded content (such as maps) may not meet our accessibility standards
Feedback
If you experience any accessibility barriers on this site, please let us know. We take all feedback seriously and will aim to respond within 5 working days.
