Tips for your visit
Ring Epping Forest Visitor Centre (020 7332 1911) before visiting during term time as educational visits sometimes occur. Dressing-up clothes available (currently unavailable - check before visit). Picnic table and benches on grounds. Café (Butler's Retreat) nearby with ample seating. British Sign Language interpretation available for selected events or by advance booking. Consider combining with Visitor Centre next door and nearby Epping Forest walks.

Free entry to the building and grounds. Optional private tours available at £5 per person (adults and children charged equally). Educational/school visits available by arrangement.
Parking
Small car park on-site with 2 dedicated disabled parking bays. Four additional larger car parks within short walking distance (Barn Hoppitt, Warren Pond, Chingford Plain, Connaught Water). Check City of London website for car park fees and charges. Disabled bays appear limited; arriving early recommended.
