Autism & SEN Friendly Parks & Playgrounds Near Petersfield

Petersfield is particularly well served by outdoor green spaces, from the broad downland of Queen Elizabeth Country Park to the familiar, reachable grounds of Petersfield Heath. Open parks give SEN families something invaluable: room to move, natural sensory input that many children find calming, and the freedom to leave and return without disrupting others. Trails and open paths also allow families to build in predictable routes, which can help children who find new environments easier to manage when they know roughly what to expect.
