Autism & SEN Friendly Farms & Animals Near New Forest

Farm visits can be a wonderful sensory experience for children who love animals, and the New Forest area has working and visitor farms within easy reach. The key for SEN families is checking whether a farm offers quieter visiting times or smaller group sessions, which can make an enormous difference to how a child engages. Many children who find busy environments difficult can thrive in a farm setting where the pace is slower and the animals are a natural focus for attention.
